Presented here is a clubhouse chair from the 2008 MLB All-Star Game that has been signed by David Wright. Wright, a third baseman for the New York Mets, made the cross-borough trek to Yankee Stadium for the 2008 Midsummer Classic. The ’08 All-Star Game ended up being the longest All-Star Game in history, with the American League claiming a 4-3 victory after a Michael Young walk off sacrifice fly ended the game in the bottom of the 15th inning. Wright appeared as a pinch hitter for DH Albert Pujols, getting four plate appearances and finishing 1-3 with a walk. Wright signed the seat of this chair in silver marker. The seat has a National League logo, while the seatback is emblazoned with the 2008 All-Star Game logo. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 124461) and a COA from JSA (S21436) for the signature.
