In 2008, Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia used this Louisville Slugger S318 model bat. Pedroia finished the year as the American League’s Most Valuable Player, the first time a Red Sox earned that honor since 1995. Pedroia’s bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks and cleat impressions present on the barrel. The bat has heavy coatings of pine tar and Mota Stick from the handle to the middle of the barrel. Pedroia’s number “15” is handwritten in silver marker on the knob and top barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17189) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
