Gary Sheffield used this Louisville Slugger to hit number 483 of his eventual 509 home runs. The Louisville Slugger R161 bat shows good game use with several ball marks and abrasions on the barrel. The knob and lower handle has been wrapped with adhesive tape to enhance the grip and a light coat of pine tar applied. Sheff has signed the barrel in silver pen inscribing “Career Home Run #483 vs. Minnesota Twins 5/28/08 pitcher Jesse Crain”. A great home run bat from one of the most prolific home run hitters of the last 25 years. This bat has a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB772256) and a COA from PSA/DNA.
