New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski wore this jersey during his college days at the University of Arizona. The jersey dates to the 2008 season, Gronkowski’s second and final year with the Wildcats. The big tight end played in 10 games during the 2008 season, grabbing 47 receptions for 672 yards and 10 touchdowns. Gronkowski missed all of the 2009 season with a back injury, and was selected in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. With the Patriots, Gronkowski has developed into one of the best tight ends in league history, putting up record numbers and winning two Super Bowl titles.
This white Arizona jersey has Gronkowski’s number “48” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in navy blue and red tackle twill. “R. GRONKOWSKI” is sewn on the back shoulders in navy blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. The lower back area of the jersey features a red area with “ARIZONA” sewn on in navy blue text. The front of the jersey is accented with red piping, some of which exhibits fraying. A size “42” tag with an “L” flag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. This item shows moderate wear, and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
