Adam Jones had two plate appearances in the 2009 Mid-Season Classic where his sacrifice hit against Heath Bell in the top of the 8th inning proved to be the deciding run in the AL’s 4-3 victory. This Rawlings bat was made for Jones’ use in that 2009 All-Star Game. The handle of the bat has been stamped with the model number “M900B,” Jones’ initials “AJ,” and the year “2009” which is common with Rawlings bats produced for use in the All-Star Game. This Rawlings M900B bat displays heavy use and the handle has been cracked into two pieces with a sliver missing and repaired with glue. A heavy coat of pine tar is present on the handle. The barrel has many ball marks with white leather ball scuffs visible along with numerous scuffs and abrasions from storage with other bats. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15736), who have graded this bat a solid GU 8 for the game use.
