Graded GEM MINT 9.5 by BGS, with signature graded “9” by Beckett. Rookie Card. The three-time American League Most Valuable Player Mike Trout stars on this Bowman Chrome Draft Prospects professional debut season collectible. Trout, a first round pick in 2009, broke into MLB in 2011, winning the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year trophy and finishing second in the AL MVP race in the same season. An incendiary, five-tool centerfielder, Trout has the second-highest WAR of any active MLB player despite not turning 30 until August of this year. Trout has signed the front of this significant collectible in blazing blue ink. The card’s BGS condition report: Centering: 9.5, Corners: 9.5, Edges: 9, Surface: 9.5. A “Certified Autograph Issue” logo on the card’s front attests to the authenticity of the signature, and serves as the item’s COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered “110/225.” Of the 165 examples of this card in the Beckett population report, only three have been graded higher. A superb Trout collectible, in blazing Gem Mint condition.
