New York Yankees ace Andy Pettitte wore this navy Yankees cap during the 2010 MLB season. Pettitte, a five-time World Series champ, made the final All-Star team of his career in 2010, pitching his way to an 11-3 record and 3.28 ERA in 21 starts. The Yankees won 95 games in 2010, advancing to the American League Championship Series before falling to the Texas Rangers. Pettitte temporarily retired after the 2010 season, but he returned for another two seasons with the Bronx Bombers in 2012 and 2013. This cap has the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo embroidered on the front in white, and a navy and gray MLB logo patch sewn on the back of the cap. “Play for One”, a cross, and Pettitte’s number “46” are written on the underside of the cap in silver marker. This cap is a size 7 ¼, and it comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports (176395). Additionally, this cap comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram authenticating the cap as team issued, a common designation for items collected after the regular season.
