Hall of Famer Derek Jeter continued his march towards the 3,000-hit milestone during the 2010 season. On May 25th in Minneapolis, Jeter hit this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball for his 2,782nd career hit, when he singled to centerfield off of Twins’ pitcher Scott Baker. Jeter would account for the only run in the game when he homered to left center for the only run of the game two innings later as the Yankees held on to the 1-0 victory. This ball displays outstanding game use with dirt and scuff marks present. A commemorative “INAUGURAL SEASON 2010” stamp is on the side panel. This ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH871823) for the game use, authenticating that Jeter hit this ball for a single in the top of the fourth inning of the May 25th, 2010 game and was pitched by Scott Baker.
