After finishing the 2010 regular season in second place in the NFC North (with a 10-6 record), Mike McCarthy’s Green Bay Packers took the difficult path to the Super Bowl. Road victories over the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears set up a matchup vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV, played February 6, 2011. The Packers came out on top, by a score of 31-25, to win the championship. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a typical brilliant season, completing 65.7% of his passes for 3,922 yards and 28 touchdowns; he also rushed for 356 yards and four TDs. Rodgers’ main target was Greg Jennings, who caught 76 balls for 1,265 yards and 12 TDs. Brandon Jackson led the ground game with 703 rushing yards. Paced by Clay Matthews (13.5 sacks), Green Bay ranked second in the NFL defensively, allowing only 15.0 points per game. Presented here is an original 2010 Green Bay Packers championship ring display box. This attractive wooden (cherry) display box features a hinged top with an etched glass window proudly proclaiming “2010 WORLD CHAMPIONS” along with Green Bay’s team logo.
