The Baltimore catcher Mike Wieter’s sophomore season of 2010 saw him behind the plate for 130 games. It was this season that he became known as a guy you did not try to steal on or attempt to go for an extra base. Wieters batted .249 with 55 RBI, honing the skills that would land him a place on the AL All-Star Game the following season. The Rawlings Pro Model bat shows great game use. There are many ball marks on the barrel that include white leather scuffs and ink transfers. Cleat imprints are present and there are abrasions from contact with other equipment. The handle has been taped in a spiral of adhesive tape and Wieters’ number “32” is handwritten on the knob in silver marker. Wieters has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker, adding his number, “32.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18651) for the game use.
