Dating from Mike Trout’s last full season in the minors, this bat was game used in 2010 as the 19-year-old phenom batted a Ruthian .341 split between the Cedar Rapids Kernals and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. His offensive power that year earned him the J.G. Taylor Spink Award as the Topps Minor League Player of the Year and an invite to the Angels spring training camp.
This offered Old Hickory J143 model bat shows outstanding game use with a handle crack. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions along with white leather ball scuffs. The lower handle and knob have been taped to enhance the grip and a coat of pine tar applied. The Angels star has signed the barrel with his number “27,” completing this stunning early Trout gamer. This bat comes with a COA from Mike Trout/Anderson Authentics for the game use and signature and COA from PSA/DNA (P67376) for the signature.
