Offered in this lot is an Official Major League World Series Allan H. Selig baseball used during Game 7 of the historic 2011 World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers. The Cardinals won Game 7 6-2 after possibly the most iconic World Series game in recent memory, a 10-9 win in 11 innings punctuated by David Freese’s walk-off home run to end a magical baseball game. This baseball was used in the bottom of the first inning of Game 7 at Busch Stadium, with Ryan Theriot, St. Louis’ leadoff hitter, grounding out in a 4-3 play off a Matt Harrison pitch. St. Louis icon Albert Pujols has signed the ball in blue pen. The ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ605199) and Steiner Authentication.
