Giancarlo Stanton is known for his tremendous tape-measure home runs and as such this bat is a testament to that awesome power. This Louisville Slugger U47 bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are many ball marks with stitch impressions that are on the barrel along with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Cleat marks are on the right barrel and a moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle, along with an impression of a weighted donut. The date of manufacture “08/25/11”, length “34.0” and weight “31.0” are stamped into the knob. Stanton’s number “27” is written on the knob and barrel end in silver marker. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14781) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
