Former Boston Red Sox starter Jon Lester wore this button-down burgundy American League batting practice jersey during the All-Star Game Workout Day and Home Run Derby on July 11th, 2011 at Chase Field in Phoenix. “AMERICAN” is sewn on across the chest in camouflage, burgundy and black tackle twill. The sides have off-white and black mesh stripes and the sleeves have individual patches – left sleeve having the All-Star Game logo and the right sleeve the Red Sox “two socks” logo. The back of the jersey has “LESTER” sewn on in black tackle twill and “31” sewn on in camouflage and black tackle twill. A “MLB ALL*STAR GAME 2011” Majestic patch is sewn on the base of the front left tail. This jersey shows light use and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ744255) authenticating that Lester wore this during the “Workout Day” and “Home Run Derby”.
