McNabb was a six-time Pro-Bowler with the Philadelphia Eagles. Drafted by Andy Reid out of Syracuse University with the second overall pick in the 1999 NFL draft, McNabb led the Eagles to the 2005 SuperBowl before bowing to the Patriots. His final NFL season, 2011, was spent trying to plug the hole in the Vikings quarterback corps. McNabb wore this jersey against the Atlanta Falcon on November 27, 2011, a 24 – 14 loss.
The white mesh Vikings away jersey sports a gold-trimmed-purple tackle-twill “5” on front and back, and a purple tackle-twill “McNabb” stitched on a nameplate across the rear shoulders. Above this is an embroidered Viking head.
The NFL shield adorns the front, center collar. An embroidered Viking insignia sits below this. A gold-trimmed-purple tackle-twill “5” adorns each shoulder. Sleeve cuffs and waistband are elastic. The right and left torso are decked in gold-trimmed purple that runs up the side and around the sleeves.
On the interior center back is an identifying tag, “11-46 L.” A material/laundering instruction tag is stitched to the inside left seam. A COA from the Minnesota Vikings (ZZ21612), verifying authenticity, accompanies this item.
