L.A. Dodger outfielder Andre Ethier wore this batting helmet during the 2012 season’s final home game against the San Francisco Giants on October 3, 2012. Clayton Kershaw would win his 14th game, but the Dodgers would finish a disappointing second place, eight games back of the Giants. In the game, Ethier would stroke his 36th double of the season in the sixth inning off reliever Clay Hensley. Ethier would score the deciding run on a single by Adrian Gonzalez later in the inning. Ethier ended his 2012 season with a .284 BA. Ethier has spent his entire nine-year career as a Dodger. This size 7 3/8 batting helmet is in good condition and fully intact. Some pine-tar is evident on the “LA” emblem, at top right of crown, and smudges span the top, left temple area and brim. All padding is soundly affixed. Ethier’s No. 16 has been decaled on the center rear above the MLB logo. This item is MLB Authenticated (EK 217999).
