Jason Heyward enjoyed five productive seasons with the Atlanta Braves, a franchise that used the 14th overall pick on the outfielder in the 2007 draft before trading him following the 2014 campaign. His new team, the St. Louis Cardinals, like coveted Heyward’s combination of power and speed. As an example, Heyward sported this game-used navy blue button-down Atlanta road jersey during a 2012 season that saw the dynamic talent hit 27 homers and steal 21 bags. “Atlanta” appears across the chest in navy blue-on-white tackle twill above artfully crafted stitched version of the Braves’ tomahawk. “HEYWARD” appears across the top back of the jersey in white tackle twill on a navy blue name plate, with his number “22” below in navy blue-on-white tackle twill. The jersey, worn in a 6-2 loss to the Phillies on Sept. 21, boasts a Majestic Authentic Collection manufacturer’s tag on the front tail with a white strip tag below that reads “48T ’12 S5” for the jersey’s size, year and set number. MLB Authenticated, certification number “EK 234892.”
