Ever since his debut in 2003, LeBron James has dominated basketball, easily staking a claim to the title of best player in the world. The 6’8” small forward from Akron, Ohio, has won three NBA Finals, four NBA MVP Awards, and three NBA Finals MVP Awards in his 14 seasons in the NBA. A bruising, physical player with a passing touch that rivals Magic Johnson’s, LeBron James is simply the best at what he does. With career averages of 27.1 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds per game, LeBron’s spot in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is assured.

     James wore this jersey twice during the 2011-2012 NBA season. The first game came on January 10th, 2012, against a team that would later defeat him twice in the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors. Although the Heat lost this road game 111-106, LeBron put forth a Herculean effort with 26 points, seven assists, and 11 rebounds in his 42 minute outing. The second game took place on February 1st, 2012 against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. Despite LeBron’s best efforts, the Heat fell by a score of 105-97. James’ scored 40 points in this game, while collecting eight rebounds and dishing five assists.

     These two losses would not affect James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and the Heat, as they easily won the first of their two consecutive NBA Finals in a five game rout of the Oklahoma City Thunder. James was named both the regular season and NBA Finals MVP in 2011-12, averaging 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists during the regular season. He increased his scoring in the playoffs to an incredible 30.3 points per game, while adding 9.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists. 2011-12 was one of the finest seasons of LeBron’s incredible career.
