In 2012 Pablo Sandoval joined Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson and Albert Pujols as the only sluggers to hit three home runs in a single World Series game. Not a bad group of guys to get lumped in with! This bat was used by Sandoval during the Giants’ 2012 pennant run.
This Marucci PS48 model bat displays heavy use and is un-cracked. A heavy coat of pine tar is found on the upper handle and the barrel displays many ball marks and abrasions. Sandoval has signed the barrel in blue marker adding “Game Used 2012”. Also included on this game used bat are 13 signatures from the 2012 World Series team signed in blue marker, with notable signatures that include: Pablo Sandoval (inscribed "Game Used 2012", Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey, Manager Bruce Bochy, Matt Cain, Sergio Romo and several others. This bat comes with full LOAs from PSA/DNA (1B04576 & 5A26606) for game use and signatures and who have graded this bat a perfect GU10.
