Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing wore this home navy jersey during the October 13th, 2013 game against the St. Louis Rams. Cushing finished the day with five total tackles (two solo, one for a loss) as the Texans fell to the Rams 38-13. This jersey is Nike SKILL size 46, with a “2013” and a “5” L.B.” tag on the inside back collar and the NFL crest centered just below the neckline. “TEXANS” is embroidered in white just below the NFL shield crest. The navy jersey has a red collar, with Cushing’s number “56” sewn on the front, back and both shoulders in white and red double-tackle-twill. On the back, “CUSHING” is sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching navy nameplate. There is a pink NFL Captain Patch that adorns the upper right chest, a white letter “C”, rimmed in silver, with three gold stars. This indicates that Cushing has been the team captain for three years. This jersey displays heavy game use with stains and abrasions. Cushing has signed his name in black marker on the “6” on the back of the jersey and inscribed “56”. This comes with a COA from NFL-PSA/DNA (2N00256) which authenticates that Cushing wore this jersey during the October 13th, 2013 game and signed this jersey.
