In his three plus full seasons in the major leagues, San Francisco Catcher Buster Posey has won the Jackie Robison Award, one National League Most Valuable Player Award and TWO World Series rings. Any game used memorabilia which enters the collectors market is snapped up quickly, and for good prices. Posy has been pretty deliberate about letting his game used equipment loose, and there are certainly more collectors desiring a piece of Posey history than there are items avaialbe. With that in mind, we are proud to offer a fantastic Buster Posey game used bat, graded by PSA/DNA at MINT 9. This un-cracked 34 inch, 31.8 ounce Louisville Slugger D200 Model bat was used by Posey during the 2013 season. The low density Maple bat features a deeply stamped “Buster Posey” facsimile signature on the barrel, just above the “SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS” team name. The left and back barrel reveal very large ball marks, with stitch impressions, the ball marks include some of the largest blue ink transfers you will see. In addition, multiple bat rack colors are visible as is a moderate amount of Mota stick on the handle. The knob features “the date of manufacture (01/13/13), length (34.0), and weight (32.0) are deeply stamped along with the letter “VM” for Vacuum Maple, and “LDM” for Low density Maple. On the sweet spot is a black Sharpie “Buster Posey 28 GU 13” with the LoJo Sports hologram affixed to the barrel. This tremendous Buster Posey game used bat has also been authenticated by PSA/DNA, cert number 1B07482, graded GU 9.
