New York Mets 3rd baseman David Wright wore this Alternate Home Jersey on Father’s Day, June 16, 2013, at Citi Field in Flushing, NY. New York would score 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning for a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the visiting Chicago Cubs that day, with Wright going 1-4 with a double on the day. The blue button-down jersey has “METS” across the chest, “WRIGHT” on the back, and his number “5” on the front and back, all in orange-on-white tackle twill. The left shoulder has the 2013 All Star Game patch, and the lower front tail features the “Majestic Authentic” patch, size “46” addition, along with a Majestic ID tag that reads “46C+1B-0.5S ’13 S2 #5.” As the game was played on Father’s Day, the jersey sports a blue Prostate Cancer Awareness ribbon on the left breast.
