Chicago Cubs leftfielder Kyle Schwarber wore this Daytona Cubs jersey during the 2014 MiLB season. 2014 was Schwarber’s only full year in the minors, as the power hitter quickly became an integral part of the Big League Cubs roster. In 2016 Schwarber missed nearly the entire regular season with a knee injury, miraculously returning to record his first hit of the season in the World Series. His Herculean efforts helped the Cubs clinch their first title in 108 seasons with their 4-3 series victory over the Cleveland Indians.

Before he was a star in the Major Leagues, Schwarber played in 44 games with the high-A Daytona Cubs. He clubbed 10 home runs with 28 RBI and a .302 batting average in only 159 at-bats. This pinstriped home Daytona Cubs jersey features “Cubs” sewn across the front in light and dark blue tackle twill. Schwarber’s number “12” is sewn on the back in similarly colored tackle twill below a blue MiLB logo. A circular Chicago Cubs logo is sewn on the left sleeve above a black Wilson logo. A Daytona Cubs logo is sewn on the right sleeve. A Wilson tag with a size “48” flag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey shows moderate to good signs of game use. Schwarber signed the “2” digit on the back, adding the inscription “14 Game Used” in silver marker. There is a small blue marker mark on the front of the jersey. This item comes with a Daytona Cubs LOA for game use and a JSA LOA for the signature (Y43455).
