Offered is a pair of Christian Colon 2015 World Series game-issued Nike Huarache special edition baseball cleats. The size 10.5 royal blue cleats have mesh fabric uppers and with blue and white laces. The shoe has silver glitter mixed into the paint along the base, heel and toe, and a metallic gold Nike “Swoosh” logo on the sides. The high-top cleats have a white logo on the back of the blue plastic heels. The bottom of each cleat has nine (9) silver metal spikes and a green plastic “MAX AIR” logo plate. An infielder who broke into Major League Baseball with the Kansas City Royals in the 2014 season, Colón served as a utility player during the 2015 season. He entered Game 5 of the 2015 World Series (his first appearance in the playoffs) in the top of the 12th as a pinch hitter. After not making a plate appearance for four weeks, he hit a single to score Jarrod Dyson for the winning run to clinch the World Series, marking the first time in history that a player in his first at bat in a World Series delivered the Series-winning run. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (1640, 1641).
