Every year the NBA hosts a “Rising Stars Challenge” exhibition game featuring NBA rookies and sophomores on the Friday of the NBA’s All-Star Weekend. The game format features rookies and sophomores and is split between The United States versus the World, where American NBA players play NBA players from around the world. Charlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller recorded four rebounds, one assist, three steals, and 12 points during Team USA’s 121-111 loss to Team World at the Barclays Center on February 13, 2015.

Presented here is the game-used jersey worn by Zeller during the Rising Stars Challenge Game. The gray with white accents pullover mesh jersey features black piping with white and silver stripes on the sleeves and collar. “HORNETS” is emblazoned across the chest in aqua-on-purple tackle twill. The number “40” appears on the chest and back of the jersey in black-on-white tackle twill. A “MADE IN THAILAND 2XL2” flag appears attached to the jersey’s inside collar. A NBA Authentic “EVERY PLAYER.EVERY GAME. ASW 01564” tag is affixed to the jersey’s left front tail next to an Adidas “Climacool” size “2XL” manufacturing tag with a “LENGTH+2” flag. A screen-printed gray Adidas logo appears on the jersey’s right shoulder and a “BBVA RISING STARS CHALLENGE” patch is affixed to the jersey’s left shoulder. An embroidered NBA logo appears on the back collar. “ZELLER” appears in black tackle twill across the back of the jersey. An embroidered American flag is located on the back center tail of the jersey. The jersey displays some moderate signs of game use and contains some faint stains around the collar. The game-used jersey comes with an LOA from the MeiGray Group (ASW 01564).
