New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. wore these Nike custom “Salute to Service” cleats on November 15th, 2015 against the New England Patriots. Beckham caught four passes for 104 yards and a touchdown during this contest, a 27-26 Patriots victory decided on a last-second field goal. This was Beckham's 20th career touchdown and it was an 87-yard catch and run, with the LSU star catching Eli Manning’s toss on his own 35 before making the Patriots safety miss a tackle and waltzing into the endzone. Beckham had an excellent year in 2015, setting career-highs in receiving yards (1,450) and touchdowns (14). His 87-yard reception is, as of the start of the 2018 NFL season, the longest reception of his career.
These cleats are custom painted with a “Salute to Service” theme. The right cleat is painted with an alternating red and white stripe pattern, with blue laces and blue Nike swoosh logos applied to each side of the shoe. The left shoe has red laces and is painted blue with white stars. Red Nike swooshes are applied to each side of this shoe. “ROYAL” is printed inside each of these size 11.5 cleats. Beckham has signed both cleats in black marker, inscribing “Game Used 11-15-15 vs Patriots”, “4 Rec 104 Yards 1 td”, and “Salute to Service” on each cleat. These cleats come with a LOA from Beckham Jr. and Fanatics holograms (AA0004545, AA004546).
