As the first overall player drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Auston Matthews already has some huge expectations. Those expectations are well-earned, as Matthews became the only player in NHL history to score four goals in his first career game. He has dominated at every competitive level, including at the 2016 IIHF Men’s World Championship held in Helsinki, Finland. Matthews wore this dark blue USA jersey while assisting on one goal during the team’s lone exhibition game prior to the start of the tournament, a 3-2 defeat at the hands of host Finland.
