Houston Astros star shortstop Carlos Correa used this two-toned Victus BJ 50 model bat during both games of a double-header against the Minnesota Twins on August 11, 2016. In the first game, Correa went 2-4 with a home run, his 17th of the season and 39th of his career, and three RBI as the Astros trounced the Twins 15-7. The second game of the twin-bill more of the same as Correa again went 2-4 with a home run, his 18th of the season and 40th of his career, as the Astros again routed the Twins 10-2 to complete the double-header sweep.
This bat displays excellent use and has a crack on the handle. This bat has an axe handle style and the barrel has some ball marks and stitch impressions present and there’s a coating of Mota Stick on the lower handle. Other marks include cleat imprints and Correa has signed his name in black marker across the barrel with the added inscription “2015 AL ROY”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14619) who have graded this gamer a near perfect GU 9.5 and have photo matched this bat. There is a COA from PSA/DNA (AD28251) for his signature and a LOA from Carlos Correa Sr, who attests that this bat was in his private collection. This is a tremendous opportunity to own a multi-home run bat from one of the game’s brightest and future stars.
