New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius wore this special Father’s Day cap during the New York Yankees 7-4 road loss to the Minnesota Twins on June 19th, 2016. Although Gregorius went hitless at the plate, he supported his play with his typically excellent defensive work and hustle. The Amsterdam-born middle infielder had a terrific 2016 season, continuing his emergence as the heir to Derek Jeter in the Yankees infield.
This cap is dark gray, with a blue Yankees logo embroidered on the front. A blue and white MLB logo is present on the back of the cap. An “18” sticker is applied to the underside of the brim. Gregorius has signed the top of the brim of this size 7 3/8 hat in silver marker, adding the inscription “Game Used”. This hat comes with a COA from JSA (S47050) for the signature, a LOA from Yankee-Steiner Collectibles, and a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 023744), which dates use to the June 19th contest.
