In 2016 Kris Bryant made his second appearance for the National League All-Star team. The 2015 National League Rookie of the Year and 2016 National League MVP opened up the scoring in this All-Star Game, clubbing a home run off of crosstown rival Chris Sale in the first inning. Bryant finished the 2016 season with 39 home runs, 102 RBI, and a .292 batting average, leading the Cubs to a 103-58 record and their first World Series victory since 1908.

The third baseman wore these light blue Adidas AS Boost Icon 2 PE cleats during the 2016 All-Star Game, which was held in San Diego. The size 13.5 cleats are a sample model from Adidas given to Bryant. “KB 17” is printed on the inside heel of each shoe. A raised Adidas logo is affixed to the outside heel. The sole plate is hard rubber with stainless steel spikes. “Bryant” is written in black marker on the soles. Bryant signed the toe of each shoe, inscribing “2016 ASG G/U 1st ASG HR” in black marker. These shoes show good signs of use, with PetCo Park dirt still attached to the soles. These shoes come with dual MLB Authenticated holograms (JC 103238 and JC 103239) and two Fanatics Authenticated holograms (ZZ0056397 and ZZ0056398).
