Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews wore these white Nike Alpha size 14 cleats during the Packers road game against the Detroit Lions in Week 17 of the 2017 NFL season. Green Bay, missing their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, fell to the Lion 35-11. Matthews recorded a sack, three QB hits, and two tackles for a loss in an omnipresent performance. Matthews, a veteran presence in the Green Bay defense, finished the 2017 season with 8.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
These white cleats have a black Nike swoosh on each side of the shoes, with a black Nike Alpha wordmark on each tongue. The soles are gray with a black Nike swoosh and 12 plastic cleats. Matthews has signed each shoe in black marker, inscribing his number “52” and “Lions 12/31/17” on each cleat.
