Los Angeles Angels superstar centerfielder Mike Trout, the consensus best player in baseball, wore this special Mother’s Day white Angels home jersey during the May 14th against Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. In his first plate appearance Trout hit a solo bomb in the bottom of the first inning off Verlander, the 179th homer of his career, which tied the game at one in this eventual 4-1 Angels’ win. Trout finished this game 1-1 with a RBI, a walk, a HBP and two stolen bases. Were it not for an injured thumb causing him to miss several weeks of action, Trout likely would have won the American League MVP Award after finishing the year with 33 homers, a .306 batting average, 72 RBI, 22 steals, and more walks than strikeouts.

This Majestic size 48 white button-down Angels jersey has “ANGELS” sewn across the chest in pink and charcoal tackle twill, while Trout’s number “27” is sewn on the chest in the same pink and charcoal tackle twill. “TROUT” is sewn across the back shoulders in black tackle twill. Pink Angels logo patches are sewn on each sleeve, while a ChromaFlex MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar in two shades of pink. This jersey displays heavy game use with a large dirt stain covering most of the front. A size “48” Majestic FlexBase tag is applied to the front left tail and an additional Majestic tag is applied vertically on the front tail. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC301783), which authenticates that Trout wore this jersey during the May 14th, 2017 game. A great game used Trout jersey worn for a special event game and used for career homer run number 179.
