Boston Red Sox outfielder/DH J.D. Martinez was the catalyst behind the resurgent Red Sox offense in 2018 and was a key contributor to the storied franchise’s best ever regular season where they won 108 games and the World Series title. Martinez wore the red alternate Majestic Flex Base Boston Red Sox button-down jersey during the May 25th game against the Atlanta Braves at Fenway Park. While wearing this jersey, Martinez blasted his 16th home run of the season and 168th of his career of Atlanta pitcher Julio Teheran in the bottom of the fourth inning of the Red Sox 6-2 win. This jersey features “RED SOX” sewn on across the chest in Tuscan font in navy and white tackle twill. The Majestic size 48 tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is screen-printed on the bottom center front tail and reads “#28 J.D. MARTINEZ 2018 48”. The back of the jersey has Martinez’s number “28” in McAuliffe style font sewn on in navy and white tackle twill. This jersey displays light game use and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD204580) which authenticates that Martinez wore this jersey during the May 25th, 2018 game.
