Chicago Cubs second baseman Javy Baez used this bat during the August 7, 2018 game at Kansas City. Baez went after a first-pitch two seam fastball from Royals pitcher Brian Flynn and grounded into a double play. The Marucci JB29-A Pro Model bat shows good game use and has a handle crack. The barrel shows several prominent ball marks and ink transfers and a moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle. The bat’s specs and Baez’s number “9” is stamped into the knob end.
