Among the young stars on the Atlanta Braves is their center fielder Ronald Acuna. In his rookie season of 2018, Acuna slammed 26 home runs and drove in 64 as the Braves finished first in the NL East. Acuna’s fine freshman stats earned him the Rookie of the Year honors. Offered here are two game used items from the August 23, 2018 game in which Acuna hit his 21st home run of the season. Acuna’s blast came in the top of the third inning off Marlins’ pitcher Elieser Hernandez.

The first item is a white Schutt base that was used for first base for the first three innings of the game. This base displays solid game use with dirt stains on the top. Acuna signed his name in blue marker on the top and inscribed “84th career Hit 21st career HR”. Two sides of the base have black panels with the Marlins logo and “MIAMI MARLINS” printed. The other two panels have the Braves’ logo on the left and the Marlins logo on the right with “AUGUST 23-26, 2018 MARLINS PARK” printed in the center.This base comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC441441), authenticating that this base was used for first base during the August 23, 2018 game during the first through third innings. There is also a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.

The next item is the lineup card used by the Marlins in their dugout for the August 23, 2018 game. This lineup card has both teams’ lineups printed with handwritten players, crossouts and other markings in black marker. This has been signed by Marlins manager Don Mattingly. The lineup card also comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC441438), authenticating that this was the Marlins’ lineup card that hung on the dugout wall at Marlins Park on August 23, 2018. There is also a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
