The 2018 National League Rookie of the Year Ronald Acuna Jr. made his home debut for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in Cumberland, Georgia, on May 4, 2018. The Braves entered the game against the San Francisco Giants, riding a five-game winning streak. The Braves jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a Freddie Freeman two-run home run, but the Giants answered with six runs in the top of the second and remained in the driver’s seat for the rest of the game, winning 9-4. Giants pitcher Chris Stratton earned the win after pitching six innings, holding the Braves to three runs. Acuna Jr batted 0-4 during his home debut but would explode later in the season, batting .293 with 127 hits, 26 home runs, and knocking in 64 RBI, helping propel the Braves to their first division title since 2013.

Presented here is the locker name plate from Acuna Jr.’s debut Braves home game. The 24 x 4-inch metal plate is red, navy, and silver, and it features the MLB logo above “BRAVES” and the iconic Braves tomahawk on the left side of the plate. “RONALD ACUNA JR.” appears across the middle of the plate in white and navy. The number “13” appears on the right side of the plate in silver, red, navy, and white. The plate features some scratches and is bent on the right end. The used debut locker name plate comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD120691).
