The Warriors continued their dynasty run as they would defeat the Rockets in Game 1 on May 14, 2018 by the score of 119-106 with Curry dropping 18 points in the victory. The Warriors would defeat Houston in seven games and sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers to win their third title in four seasons and second in a row. Curry continued his lights out production in the playoffs, averaging 25.5 points per game as the Warriors knocked off the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans before defeating the Rockets, and Cavaliers.
