He first heard the call to serve the country when he served as a Senator from the great state of Delaware, representing the First State from 1973 until 2009, when he was nominated Vice President of the United States under President Barack Obama. Biden served eight years as Vice President, and after sitting out the 2016 Presidential Election to deal with the death of his son, Beau. Biden earned the Democratic nomination for President and successfully defeated incumbent President Donald Trump, recording a record 81 million votes. Biden took “The Presidential Oath of Office” on January 20th, 2021 at the United States Capitol, with the oath being administered by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. This presented 5 x 8-inch copy of the Presidential Oath on Official White House lettering in black ink. The signature is bold and clear, and the copy of the oath is in great condition and comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
