Ohtani had a monster day during the Angels' 7-1 victory over the Blue Jays which included the solo home run off of T.J. Zeuch to center field during the top of the fifth inning with this very ball. Ohtani finished the day with 4 RBI and 1 run scored and the home run was Ohtani's third home run of the season of what would be 46 on the season in what may be an MVP-worthy campaign.

This baseball from Ohtani's fifth inning home run comes with a detailed letter of provenance from the fan who caught the ball. Additionally, this lot has with multiple images of that fan holding the ball and a video attached below this description that shows that same fan making the catch in the left-center field bleachers and the commentators from the Angels’ broadcast complimenting the catch. According to the letter, a representative from the Angels public relations department came out to the outfield seats to meet with the fan and offered to have Ohtani sign the ball. Ohtani indeed signed the sweet spot of this Rawlings baseball following the game with a blue ballpoint pen. The signature is bold and clear. The baseball displays excellent evidence of game use and contains dirt stains and abrasions throughout the ball.
