Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson is immortalized in this original painting by the sports artist Mike Pattison. Pattison, who earned his BFA from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design, specializes in oil and watercolor paintings. He has created paintings for the Philadelphia Phillies, Miami Marlins, Steiner Sports, Leaf Sports Cards, as well as painting scores of commissioned pieces. His subjects have ranged from Fernando Valenzuela to Buzz Aldrin to Elgin Baylor. Iverson is shown in his rookie-era Sixers red road jersey and a pair of his signature Reebok “The Answer” sneakers. Iverson is driving to the rim against three Los Angeles Lakers defenders, his right-handed layup poised to drop into the net. Iverson has signed this tremendous painting in bold silver marker, inscribing “HOF 2016” next to his signature. This original artwork measures approximately 22 x 30 inches and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (D84715).
