No baseball player could perform the same magic with a baseball bat as Babe Ruth. The Sultan of Swat made a bat look like a toothpick in his huge paws. The bat offered here is a Louisville Slugger H&B 125 George “Babe” Ruth Model bat. The Great Bambino himself signed the barrel of this 35-inch dark brown bat on the barrel in steel-tip black fountain pen. The bat is in excellent condition, although it does have a mounting hook affixed to the knob and a hairline crack in the barrel. One could easily imagine The Babe hitting one of his 714 home runs with this hefty stick. This bat comes with a JSA LOA (Z24396). Goldin Auctions will be donating 5% of the winning bid price of this lot and all lots in this auction to the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum.
