On August 9th, 2002, Barry Bonds became the fourth member of the 600 home run club by launching a moonshot off of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Kip Wells at Pacific Bell Park. This baseball commemorates Bonds’ 600th home run, a number he would exceed by 156 before his legendary career came to a close. This baseball bears an American flag stamp, as well as a stamp indicating the date and location of his historic round-tripper. Bonds signed this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball on the panel beneath the Commissioner’s stamped signature. That panel also features a Bonds 600th home run logo. Bonds used a blue pen to write his signature on this orb. It is a limited edition 531 of 600, and comes with a COA from JSA (S81035).
