This football was used during Super Bowl XXV on January 27th, 1991. The New York Giants defeated the Buffalo Bills 20-19 in an instant classic Super Bowl, with Bills kicker Scott Norwood’s 47-yard field goal attempt with seconds left on the game clock drifting just right of the uprights. This game used football has been signed by Giants center Bart Oates, a member of the G-Men’s Super Bowl XXI and XXV winning teams. The five-time Pro Bowler has signed this football in black marker, inscribing “Super Bowl XXV Champs” and “Game Used” in addition to his signature. This Wilson football is printed with the Super Bowl XXV logo and “National Football League / Tampa, Fl. January 27, 1991 / Silver Anniversary”.
