The Boston Celtics legendary “Parquet Floor” supported 16 Celtics NBA Championships in its 53 years of service, from its 1946 origin at the old Boston Arena and its moves to the Boston Garden in 1952 and Fleet Center in 1995 until its last day on December 22, 1999. Pieces of the original floor were also incorporated into the new floor to keep the tradition alive but this 4” x 5 ¼” piece with “The Historic Boston Garden” hologram was signed in bold black Sharpie by Celtics Hall of Famers; coach Red Auerbach and center Bill Russell who added a “#6” inscription. This handsome green and brown shadow box display also contains a 10” x 12” B/W photo of Auerbach and Russell in full embrace and black -etched-on-gold “Boston Celtics Legends” nameplate reading: Bill Russell 12-Time NBA Champion, HOF 1974 and Red Auerbach 16 Time NBA Champion, HOF 1969 and comes with Rich Altman’s Hollywood Collectibles COA.
