Second baseman Billy Martin spent 11 seasons in Major League Baseball, primarily with the New York Yankees, where he won four World Series and one All-Star selection during the 1950s. Martin retired after the 1961 season and embarked on his second career as a coach and manager known for turning any team into contenders. Martin managed the New York Yankees five times and managed them to a World Series victory in 1977.
Presented here are a pair of Official American League Bobby Brown baseballs signed by famed Yankees player and manager Billy Martin. “RAWLINGS” is stamped in blue on the east panel and west panel respectively of each baseball. “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER RO-A” is stamped in blue on the east and west panel of each baseball. Martin signed the sweet spot of each baseball with a blue ballpoint pen. The signatures are bold and the baseballs feature light elements of toning throughout. The pair of baseballs signed by Billy Martin come with a LOAs from Beckett Authentication.
