He broke Lou Gehrig’s record of 2130 consecutive games, a feat that was voted the most memorable moment in MLB history by the fans. Cal’s record of 2,632 consecutive games will likely last forever. Two are Rawlings OAL baseballs stamped with Ripken 8 Orioles with 2130 & 2131 on either side of the 8. They are signed “Cal Ripken Jr.” in blue ink under the 8. The third is a Rawlings OAL Bobby Brown baseball, signed in blue ink “Cal Ripken Jr.” All signatures grade 9. Each ball comes in Lucite case. Hologram cert.
