Offered is a rare “flat bat” that is dated between 1860 and 1880. This bat measures 32 inches and shows heavy use and weighs approximately two pounds with a rounded knob. The dark wood stained bat also displays numerous scuff marks and some wood loss which appears on the barrel, but otherwise in good condition. There are no manufacturer’s markings or stamping visible on this item.
