Former running back Chuck Muncie was a three-time Pro Bowler, playing for both the New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers. Muncie was drafted by the Saints with the third overall pick in the 1976 draft. Muncie spent his college days at Arizona Western and then for the California Golden Bears. Muncie wore this University of California road white jersey circa 1973-75. This white mesh jersey was made by Russell Athletic and is a size XL. Muncie’s number “42” is screen-printed on the front, back in shoulders in blue and the sleeves have blue and yellow stripes screen-printed on. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. This jersey displays heavy game use with several team repairs in the shoulder and upper back areas, along with grass stain remnants and slight degradation of the screen-printed numbers and sleeves. This jersey comes with a LOA from RGU for the game use.
