Hall of Famer Jim Rice wore this navy Boston Red Sox helmet circa 1984 when he hit 28 home runs and had 128 RBI. This helmet was made by ABC and features the Red Sox “B” logo decal affixed to the front. The helmet is made of high-impact plastic with foam pads and a left ear flap for a right-handed batter. The foam padding covers the left ear, top and back of the head and a padded head band liner. Rice’s number “14” is on the back of the helmet in large white decals. This helmet displays excellent use with numerous scratches and abrasions. Rice has signed this in beautiful contrasting silver marker on the top of the bill and inscribed “HOF 09”. This comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for his signature.
