The Hall of Fame centerfielder Kirby Puckett wore this navy Minnesota Twins batting helmet circa 1988. Puckett, a rookie in 1984, led the American League in hits in 1988, collecting 234 base hits and hitting for a .348 batting average. Puckett's Minnesota Twins batting helmet displays light game use and is made of high-impact plastic. This size 7 3/8 navy helmet was made by Rawlings and features the Twins’ “M” logo decal affixed to the front and Puckett’s number “34” decals adhered to the top of the bill. The back of the helmet also has Puckett’s “34” in white decals, along with the Rawlings logo decal in white. Tan foam padding is around the inner head band and left ear flap, along with the top. A size 7 3/8 sticker is affixed to the inside back crown. This helmet displays light game use and Puckett has signed his name in silver marker to the right of the “M” logo decal on the front. This helmet comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25424) for the signature.
